DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?We are currently Private Pay (self-pay) and do not accept insurance at this time.
-
WHY PRIVATE PAY INSTEAD OF INSURANCE?At The Resting Place, we have elected to use Private (Self) Pay over Insurance for several reasons: More control: When paying out-of-pocket, you have more control over the therapy process. This means YOU get to choose the therapist that works best for you, not solely based on your insurance coverage. Privacy and confidentiality: Paying for therapy yourself means that you don't have to involve insurance companies, which can help ensure your privacy and confidentiality. Avoiding diagnosis: While some individuals prefer to have a formal diagnosis, not everyone who comes to therapy would like to be diagnosed. When insurance companies get involved in the therapy process, they may require a formal diagnosis. Immediate payment and management of care: When paying out-of-pocket, you pay as you go rather than meeting a deductible. *Upon request, we are happy to provide a receipt for insurance companies.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?Every time slot is a valuable opportunity for clients as well as valuable time for the therapist. Because of this, we require a 48-hour notice for session cancellations, or you will be charged a no-show fee of half of your usual session fee. Please let us know ASAP if you will be unable to make your session.
